What is your favorite thing to do on your days off:
I love cooking outside on my smoker, grill, or fryer. I also love spending time with family especially our nine grandkids.
What is your favorite part of your role at SSI:
The contribution we are making to our men and women in uniform. I have two sons, two brothers and several uncles who all served. I also like my Stratagem teammates and have established good friendships.
What is do you see as the next step in your career at Stratagem Solutions, Inc (SSI):
I would like to assist in expanding our services and reach into the software development realm. I would like to assist the company in expanding our software expertise.
What is your favorite thing about working at Stratagem Solutions, Inc (SSI):
I love the small company atmosphere and really getting to know my teammates. I also like the fact that Stratagem gives back to the community.
How has your career advanced since you’ve been with SSI:
I have learned more than I thought I ever would about uncrewed aviation systems and much more.
What is your favorite quote:
Not sure its my favorite but I try to live by the Golden Rule, “Do unto others what you have them do unto you”.
What is one thing you cannot do without:
My family especially my lovely wife Toshia.

What is your favorite thing to do on your days off:
My favorite thing to do on my days off is goof off with friends/family (when available) and finding things that make myself and others laugh.
What is your favorite part of your role at SSI:
On the SETA side I love working alongside other professional that are determined to support the warfighter in the best way possible and as the SSI Shares Lead – getting to work with the SSI Shares Board and learn about local organizations that selflessly try to do amazing things in our local community.
What is do you see as the next step in your career at Stratagem Solutions, Inc (SSI):
Working as part of the team to establish sustainable company growth within Government organizations here at Redstone to include Army, MDA, FBI, and NASA.
What is your favorite thing about working at Stratagem Solutions, Inc (SSI):
Being part of a small evolving business that is directly engaged with making a difference in the DoD and the local community.
How has your career advanced since you’ve been with SSI:
I have been able to take part in new contract efforts while working with various primes to identify and qualify potential opportunities that will allow Stratagem to grow.
What is your favorite quote:
This is from a movie, but it has always stuck with me… “I’m going to break precedent and tell you my one candle wish: that you would have a life as lucky as mine, where you can wake up one morning and say, “I don’t want anything more.””

Play pickleball and spend time with my granddaughter
What is your favorite part of your role at SSI:
The freedom to work independently in support of the customer and the flexibility to accommodate my life needs.
What is do you see as the next step in your career at Stratagem Solutions, Inc (SSI):
I like to fill the gaps that occur with my customer. I will continue looking for opportunities to meet the evolving needs within A2E2. My next major transition will be to retirement (in a few years) 🙂
What is your favorite thing about working at Stratagem Solutions, Inc (SSI):
Although I don’t work closely with SSI personnel, I appreciate that SSI has quality staff. All my interactions with SSI personnel have been professional and pleasant! I also appreciate SSI’s efforts to meet all requirements as subcontractors. Having worked for the prime in the past, I have dealt with non-ideal subcontractors and I am pleased that SSI does not fall into that category!
How has your career advanced since you’ve been with SSI:
My career has not advanced with SSI, but my quality of life has! I have chosen to take a step back from my previous Program Manager roles and all the stress that went with them. I am able to use my skills to benefit my customer in a much less stressful role.

My faith and hope in Jesus Christ!

- What is your favorite thing to do on your days off? Golf or anything outdoors
- What is your favorite part of your role at SSI? I have the ability to really make sure that the Soldiers are getting the best equipment and tools for the job.
- What is do you see as the next step in your career at Stratagem Solutions, Inc (SSI): I’m looking forward to continuing to move up into more leadership roles, which will allow me to both expand my knowledge base as well as help guide the customer even more.
- What is your favorite thing about working at Stratagem Solutions, Inc (SSI): I love that SSI still has that small company feel and how much we give back to the community with the SSI Shares program
- How has your career advanced since you’ve been with SSI: I started with SSI as a Senior Logistics analyst but that role has expanded into not only Logistics but into the programmatic aspect of the Product Office. This has allowed me to gain a better understanding of the full view of the life cycle of a development program, planning for its fielding, then maintaining it into sustainment

1. What is your favorite thing to do on your days off:
Woodworking and flyfishing are my two favorite hobbies, but my two teenage boys take up most of my free time. Thankfully, as they’ve gotten older, I’ve been able to combine them!

The latitude and support to advise the customer based on my experience. There is shared trust that has given me the confidence to candidly and confidently provide feedback without heavy oversight..

I hope to be able to take on increased levels of responsibility as I become more familiar with the acquisition world.
4. What is your favorite thing about working at Stratagem Solutions, Inc (SSI):
My favorite thing about SSI is their clear commitment to the employees. They strike a perfect balance between providing support and empowering independent initiative.
5. How has your career advanced since you’ve been with SSI:
aSSI has provided me access to numerous departments and professionals that have enabled me to learn and grow in new functional areas.
6. Where is your happy place in Huntsville, AL:
My favorite place in Huntsville is the U.S. Space and Rocket Center. I know it’s touristy, but I am a sucker for the engineering masterpiece of our space program.

Caffeine. My steadfast ally that has motivated me through innumerable challenges and served as the fuel for countless ideas. Others may take it for granted, but my gratitude for caffeine is endless.

1. What is your favorite thing to do on your days off:
Going on nature walks with my English Cocker Spaniel, Thelma Lou. My favorite thing to do when I have a few days of leave is going to visit my daughter, son-in-law and one-year-old grandson.

My favorite part about supporting the AMSA customer is the people I get to work with on a daily basis.
3. What do you see as the next step in your career at Stratagem Solutions, Inc (SSI):
I am continually learning new skills and advancing in knowledge within my role at AMSA. I hope to continue my development and see what new opportunities arise.
4. What is your favorite thing about working at Stratagem Solutions, Inc (SSI):
The Chicken Picatta at the SSI Shares Luncheons. Actually, one of my favorite things about SSI is the SSI Shares Program. I really enjoy learning about all the local charities and hearing the winners speak at our SSI Shares Luncheons.
5. How has your career advanced since you’ve been with SSI:
I have only been with SSI for one year and have not advanced in position. However, while working as a Graphic Artist under the previous contractor, I took on new responsibilities as a SharePoint Administrator at the customer’s request. When SSI took over the contract, they recognized my additional duties and incorporated them into my job title.

1. What is your favorite thing to do on your days off: I like to roast coffee, take care of our land and animals, hang out with my wife and kids. We have pigs, sheep, rabbits, dogs, bees, chickens, and a big garden to tend so we’re kept busy all the time.
2. What is your favorite part of your role at SSI: I’ve felt welcome since the day I started seven months ago. I wanted to get involved and a part of the SSI culture and was accepted very quickly into the Shares program which has been a lot of fun to be a part of that team.
3. What is do you see as the next step in your career at Stratagem Solutions, Inc (SSI): I would love to grow and help in any way that I can with SSI. I hope to continue to be a part of the SSI Shares program and maybe one day be placed into a department or task order manager role.
4. What is your favorite thing about working at Stratagem Solutions, Inc (SSI): I love being a part of a team that really cares about us and our families. It’s been a pleasure to be listened to and advised when I feel there are struggles and know that the management all the way to the top knows who I am and what I’m doing.
5. How has your career advanced since you’ve been with SSI: I continue to take on every opportunity that I can in my current role. My position is still the same as I’m relatively new but I can see great upward movement in the future as we continue to move forward.
6. Where is your happy place in Huntsville, AL: We live a little south of Huntsville so whenever my wife and I get a rare date away from the kids and farm we love to visit at a little sushi place called Miyako on the south Parkway. It’s a happy place for us to visit without interruption and enjoy some great sushi.

What is your favorite thing to do on your days off: Beyond hanging with my family and 2 kids, I love playing Golf (enthusiastically but poorly) whenever I can.
What is your favorite part of your role at SSI: Which role?! Maybe that’s my favorite part. I love working for a small business because I get opportunities to learn and serve in a variety of areas across the broad spectrum of what we do to support customers.
What do you see as the next step in your career at Stratagem Solutions, Inc (SSI): I look forward to continuing to learn about Task Order Manager responsibilities and acquisition analyst support.
What is your favorite thing about working at Stratagem Solutions, Inc (SSI):Apart from the people, which has to be the first thing that comes to mind, I’d say the culture of growth. SSI is an extremely supportive environment, but there are always people and leaders who are willing to challenge you and give you opportunities to grow. It’s important to feel secure and supported, but we don’t grow until we get uncomfortable. SSI provides the right balance of support and opportunity that generates sustainable personal/career growth.
How has your career advanced since you’ve been with SSI:I came on as a technical writer to support a customer. Since joining, I’ve provided that customer technical writing/editing support, manpower support, become the documentation lead for my customer, taken over managing a contract, and added acquisition analyst support. For SSI, I’ve taken on Department Manager responsibilities and am beginning Task Order Management as well.
Where is your happy place in Huntsville, AL: I have a few. My house, the golf course, and Monte Sano/Land Trust trails are all happy places for me.
What is your favorite quote: It’s unfair to make me pick one, but for now I’ll say that my favorite quote is: “All the truth in the world is held in stories.” My grandfather was a great storyteller, and to this day I remain convinced that one of the most effective tools we have at our disposal to help others understand something is an appropriate story.
What is one thing you cannot do without:My wife and kids. Other than that, I have to have outside, physical hobbies. When I go without exercise in the fresh air, I deteriorate.
