Giving back to the community that has given us so much!
The SSI Team is tremendously proud to introduce SSI Shares, an IRS approved nonprofit 501(c)(3), to allow employees to give back to our community!
In July 2018 we kicked off our 2018 Contributions Campaign to allow voluntary participation from all SSI employees, and we are extremely excited about the benefits we will provide to charitable organizations across North Alabama in the coming years as our SSI Team joins together to create something special!
Since inception, SSI Shares distributed $63,500 of employee contributions to North Alabama’s local charities!
All Directors and Selection Committee Members volunteer their time, and SSI wholly funds all administrative costs required to operate SSI Shares. These contributions allow SSI Shares to donate every dollar contributed to worthwhile local causes.
Need a Charity Contribution?
SSI strives to give back to the community. Funded solely by employee contributions, SSI Shares supports charities focused on community, health, and children all across the Tennessee Valley. We are excited to announce that we are now accepting applications for SSI Shares contributions.
Funding is awarded in April and October of each year. For consideration for a donation, please submit your application no later then February 15 and August 15, respectively.
