JTAARS is an autonomous aerial cargo delivery system designed to give maneuver commanders rapid, flexible, and precise resupply options—especially for highly mobile forces in dispersed and challenging environments. By reducing reliance on ground-based convoys and manned resupply missions, JTAARS will increase the speed, endurance, and range of sustainment operations.
𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐭 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫? 𝐅𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠:Procured through the UAS Marketplace Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA), this contract slashes lead times and gets critical capabilities to Soldiers faster than ever. 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐝 𝐚𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞:Autonomous resupply means fewer Soldiers exposed to risk and faster delivery of mission-critical supplies. 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: This rapid acquisition supports the Department of War’s Drone Dominance initiative and the Army’s Transformation in Contact 2.0, accelerating the deployment of emerging tech to the field.
